Persian cats come in a variety of colors. You can have silver, white, black, red, multicolored, golden, tabby shaded and smoke colored Persian cat. Persian cats grab the attention of people with their friendly, amorous and loyal behavior. These cats are very placid, playful by nature and require contented atmosphere and special care. They seem to love to pose and look like they are trying to be beautiful.
Persian cats have weird flat baby face with large eyes and a tiny nose. They have a short and broad body, a massive short neck and short legs. They have a beautiful melodious voice that is very amusing to hear. Gentle temperament is one of distinctive features of Persian cats. They usually adjust quite well to new environs quickly although some can be shy around loud noises. They transmit information very well to their owners using their voice and their extremely communicative eyes.
Persian cats are also not destructive cats. Because of their short legs and mass, they don't like to climb and jump a lot like other cats do. Average life span of Persian cats is 15 years. They require extensive daily grooming. Their long and bouncy hair needs at least fifteen minute daily brushing. They also need baths minimum after a month but eyes and ears should be cleaned daily.
